It was such a special day and so fun. Though the girls didn't speak English and Paisley didn't speak German they played together really well and were so cute. My mother-in-law later served dinner (brats and buns) and hired a Gelato (ice cream) truck to come and pull up after dinner. The entire neighborhood was invited over for ice cream and there was a line of adults waiting to get a tasty treat!
If you've ever had real Italian Gelato then you know why there was a line from all the neighbors. They scooped up three flavors for everyone in a bowl, topped with special cookies, whipped cream and sauces. The menu was huge - so many flavors!
It was a fun day. When it was time to break the pinata of course it was Gabe who broke it open. He was so proud of himself and still exerted some of his bossiness in a language not many understood. He ended up making friends with the girls in the two piece (in the video at the bottom). They made sand snow cones for everyone all afternoon. She was the cutest girl with the prettiest blue eyes I have ever seen. She kind of looked like Paris Jackson. She enjoyed playing with me and Gabe even though we spoke different languages.
My favorite prize in the prize bags were the tongue tattoo wafers. You place them on your tongue and let them dissolve and you have a temporary tattoo on your tongue that tastes yummy!
