Lagoon and Parties!

October is always a busy month for our family. We have Manuel and Cambrey's birthday, our annual family Halloween party, the ward Halloween party, school Halloween carnivals and parties, the girls have a clogging Halloween party and in addition to our other autumn festivities with friends we have a tradition to go to Frightmares at Lagoon every year.

This is probably why I have always loved October - there is so much to do and the the weather is still warm and nice.

This year the family Halloween party was themed after the Wizard of Oz movie. Our family is so big that my mom has to have her parties at the church. She had volunteer judges (her bishop and his wife) and they also took professional photos of the party.Tatem's bee costume won 3rd place and Gabe won first place for his costume. My dessert won the dessert contest!
