Gabe Turns Seven

My oldest is growing up. This morning at 8:00 am he turned seven. I can't believe how fast the time goes by.

We got up early to set up all of his presents and to make him a pancake breakfast! He was so happy, I think he's going to have a great day today!

Tonight we are taking him to dinner at Chic-fil-A and then we'll be off to do service in the ward garden for family home evening.

Gabe is such a sweet boy and I love him so, so, much! Here are some fun facts about him:

• Hates action figures, super heros and cars (not a typical boy)
• Wants to take golf lessons really bad
• Plays soccer (is the goal keeper)
• Loves to write poems, songs and stories
• Makes books
• Takes piano lessons
• Loves to learn perform magic tricks
• Loves to watch Scooby Doo as well as Tom and Jerry
• Went on the white roller coaster at Lagoon the first time last week
• Likes sushi (we trained our kids well)
• Loves to make up dances and perform them to music
• Loves to go to church and wear suits and ties
• Still loves Winnie the Pooh but doesn't want any of his friends to know
• Just learned how to tie his shoes last night
• Favorite songs is Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash
