Our busy month of October is finally over. Party after party after party and we never got tired. As you can see we really got our use out of the holiday festivities. So much happened in the last few days. Manuel turned 33, we found out the gender of our baby and we celebrated Halloween.
Manuel always tells us that the way he was raised as a child - you didn't celebrate adult's birthdays. So, he always feels like his birthday shouldn't be a big deal. Every year I remind him that we are celebrating him being alive another year - we are celebrating his life! Life is meant to be celebrated and any reason to have a party is a good enough reason for me. Needless to say, the kids and I made his birthday a big deal.
We love parties, celebrating and having fun. We are definitely not a boring family. After 13 years of marriage Manuel is finally getting used to it.

| Manuel woke up to this birthday present - His favorite candy bar, his favorite olives, hard German rolls (that he loves), his favorite flavor of yogurt, sparkling blueberry juice, one of his preferred cereals, and a bag of novelty birthday mints for boys. |
