August

Wow has life been busy! We went to an open house for Manuel's work and then an open house for the new Ogden temple. The Ogden temple is absolutely beautiful! It makes me so happy to know that because of the temple, I am sealed to my husband and kids for all of eternity. No matter what happens to us in this life - we all be together as a family forever in the next life. It's why temple covenants are so important. Because we made them - we have been blessed in so many ways.

I also went to an incredible Christ-centered healing retreat. Loved it! I think I had one of the best experiences of my life in one of the most beautiful locations in Utah - It was in Garland, Utah. I met some incredible women with amazing spiritual gifts. I learned things I did not know and came out a much better person. I'm so glad that Manuel stayed home with the kids so I could spend the night at this beautiful retreat and get spiritually fed and renewed.

My 90 day challenge has been wonderful. I have lost 26 pounds since June 10th. I feel great!

Also, Manuel and I got to go see a Broadway musical - Wicked! It was wickedly awesome. We went on a double date with Cherise and Jared. What a fun summer it has been. :)

I wore company colors and matched Manuel.

Gabe made his own money-making machine.

The girls got tattoos from Oma. Cambrey and Paisley's hand.

We wondered who this interesting couple was. They pulled up in an old limo and had a body guard follow them everywhere.

Paisley finally isn't afraid of her big bike

Going into the new Ogden temple.

We are an eternal family.

Gabe wanted to take a picture.

Then Paisley wanted to take a picture.

Then of course, Cambrey wanted to take a picture too. Whose was the best?

I found these cute pajamas that Tatem has never worn and has already outgrown. At least I got a picture of him in them.

This was the first day of the kids being off-track. They played so good the whole day.
The super moon.

Tatem has the best smile!

Cambrey is going to be a hair stylist when she grows up. After she did my hair - she took a picture of me.

Manuel loves to play soccer with the kids.

Cambrey's first day of school.

Driving to my retreat. It's a private, gated community.

Look at these beautiful homes around the lake.
Right outside the home.

Hot tub and beautiful view.

Inside the home.
This lady was an amazing speaker!

The outdoor kitchen.

There are two bald eagles in a nest in that tree. But you can't tell in this picture.
That's me on kayak.

My beautiful new friends!
Me and my neighbor Ginger.

This was on our morning scripture sunrise walk. I had the most incredible spiritual experience.

The guest house.

Ha ha - funny!

Paisley cried when she found out Grandpa Roger wasn't coming over.
Cambrey fell asleep while Paisley cried.
