Oma's Visit Part 1

When Oma first arrived it was so exciting! We couldn't believe she was really here. She unloaded a suitcase full of treats and the kids were very happy. After showing her the house we all went to bed. The next morning it was Sunday. I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast. We went to church and Oma came with us for all three hours. We loved having Oma at church with us! That night we had BBQ Asian burgers on the patio.

The next morning we got up and went to Midway! We enjoyed a delicious Mexican lunch. Oma had fun trying out the salsa bar. The kids had Mexican ice cream outside. Then we went to a cute little boutique. After that, we drove to Park City and the kids went on some fun rides. We shopped Main Street and went to the Olive Oil shop where we sampled lots of flavored oils and vinegars from all over the world. Oma bought me a coconut flavored white balsamic vinegar. Yum!

For dinner, we drove to Grandpa Roger's house for a BBQ. /he smoked ribs in his smoker while the kids played in the backyard. We had root beer floats but Oma had a sorbet freeze instead. German's don't like root beer (except for Manuel). It was a long, fun day.
