Oma's Visit Part 3

While Oma was visiting Gabe got baptized and Tatem was blessed. It was such a special day! What handsome boys all dressed in white. I'm so grateful that Manuel is a worthy priesthood holder and could administer these holy ordinances for our sons. Gabe is now an official member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was so happy. Now the sacrament has more meaning for him as he uses it to keep the covenant he made at baptism.

We had a salad bar for dinner and a dessert bar made up of dessert bars. All of our family was able to come except for Uncle Jared.

Later the next week, Gabe competed in the Raingutter Regatta for cub scouts. He took third place in his den and got a fancy little award pinned to his scouting uniform. It was so much fun to watch!

Lastly, Cambrey graduated from her first year of preschool. Oma is the first grandparent to ever attend any of my kids' preschool graduations. She did an amazing job as she counted to 15 for her special talent. You can see the video below.

This was actually our first dinner with Oma. Barbequed Asian burgers.

Mint brownies, Banana bars, coconut bars, and peanut butter brownie bars. The lemon bars are not in this picture.

Tatem after his blessing.

Third place winner.
