Frightmares and Baby Oliver's Blessing

It's been such a fun month!! This is why October is our favorite time of year and the funnest time of year in Utah. With the kids out of school we have been doing so many fun things! I have four other separate posts full of pictures lined up and in the works - so stay tuned.

In the first part of the month after enjoying General Conference, we went to Frightmares at Lagoon. Our neighbor works there and is able to get us half-off priced tickets. It was so much fun. My brother Cameron and his family happened to be there also and it was so much fun running into them on the teacup ride. We at lunch at the Lagoon Subway (inside Lagoon) and had dinner in Pioneer Village (Barbecue pulled pork sandwiches, beans and potato salad.) Then we had regular treats all throughout the day, throughout the park. The kids went trick-or-treating and we went to some fun haunted houses there. We even got to go on the newest and funnest roller coaster ride, The Cannibal. It was so much fun!

The next day was baby Oliver's baby blessing. Jared blessed him at church with Cameron, Manuel, Todd, my dad, and Jared's brother standing in the blessing circle. Such a special day. Afterwards, we went to the park across the street where Cherise had set up the most beautiful and delicious autumn brunch. It was a beautiful Sunday. There is nothing I love more than being with all of my family at church together. We love October!

Trying to see how close he can get to the street without getting in trouble.
We had a fashion show with used clothing from the thrift store. It was modesty night with the young women at church!
